You Give Me Fever
image via A Cup of Jo
So I am having a serious case of baby fever right now. My baby girl is almost 1 now, and everyday she seems less like a baby and more like a little girl, and I am just so in love (obsessed) with her that I can't wait to have more! (And I am still saying all this after being up 2 hours with her last night, so you know it's serious!)
Some of my favorite bloggers are expecting- Jordan, Rubyellen and Gabrielle, and it's only enhancing the fever! There is nothing more exciting than new life coming into the world!

More Party Ideas
Wrap Artist
I always try to find a fun creative way to wrap gifts, especially around the holidays, but I always fall flat. This is such a chic and seemingly do-able way to make even the simplest gift look fabulous. Check out d.Sharp's etsy shop for supplies and more inspiration!
Custom Stationery
I found this super-cute, personalized stationery over at S.HOPtalk. Feterie collaborated with college artist, Claudine Hellmuth, to create this amazing custom stationery using your own photos- check it out!
Happy Fall!
Fall is finally here! I love the crisp night air, the leaves swirling to the ground, and all the pumpkins and gourds in store windows. I love the wool coats, the big scarves, the layering... I have big plans to celebrate autumn's return.

Photo Wall
Ever since the lovely Little Miss J came into my life, I take more pictures than ever before. I would love to someday have a wall like this covered with photos of her and our whole family.

These are some of the most beautiful, feminine, luscious creations I've ever seen, at SarahSeven's etsy shop.
I need this blue dress.

Before and After
Amazing before and after of a living room over at Design*Sponge.
Autism Awareness
I found these posters via Design Mom and I think they're just awesome.
They are designed by the Rugh Family Workshop, and share a great message about the unique beauty that this Spectrum Disorder brings to the world.
"The Rugh Family Workshop was started by Jaime & Jeffrey Rugh for their children. Collaborating as artists with family, old friends and new friends, the workshop started making posters to promote awareness, support and compassion for individuals, families, and communities living with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The posters vary widely in range, focus and design as does the spectrum itself. "A donation will be made from each sale to GRASP, an educational and advocacy organization serving individuals on the autism spectrum.A donation will be made from each sale to GRASP, an educational and advocacy organization serving individuals on the autism spectrum.

Sweetiepie Restaurant
I just discovered this adorable NYC gem via LMNOP, called SweetiePie Restaurant.
They have bright pink couches and marble floors, and you can even sit in a giant birdcage to eat!

They serve all kinds of treats, including an 18-scoop sundae called the Sweetiepig Sundae!
And they have a bar too- double whammy!
Back to School
So today officially marks the start of a new school year. Even though I have been out of school for a while, and Baby J is a long way off from starting school, I can't help but feel that little pit in my stomach this morning. The air just changes, school buses fill the streets, and there are no more kids riding bikes up and down the street in the middle of the day.
I remember that first day- that plastic-y smell of new pencil cases and lunchboxes, the too-tight feeling of my new saddle shoes that I was convinced would last all year, the panic of bfriends oieing on a schedule again and having to get out the door on time. And once I got back and saw all of my friends in my homeroom, I knew it would all be okay. By lunch, we were back in the swing and ready for a new school year.
