I know I've posted about Elva Fields before, but I was just looking at the site again and am completely dying over their new necklaces (most of which are already sold, but still completely gorgeous! If anyone out there happens to be reading this and trying to think of a birthday gift idea for the future, this would be a great place to start! *wink, wink*

Today I celebrate my beautiful, amaazing daughter and this last incredible year she has given me. Today she turns one, and it is both exciting and emotional, remembering where I was one year ago today. She has brought so much joy into our lives, and we are so grateful for her.
Happy Birthday, baby girl. I couldn't be happier to be your mom and to share this special day with you.

Party Prep

This is what my dining room table looks like right now- and yes, that is pink toilet paper you see. We are in full party planning mode getting ready to celebrate Baby J turning 1! I have been channeling my inner Martha and trying to incorporate so many of the inspiring ideas that I've come across in the blogosphere, and I am very excited about how it will all turn out!

This week is a birthday marathon in our house- all 3 of us in the same week, within 3 days, actually! And today I send millions of birthday wishes and kisses to my wonderful husband, who turns 31 today. He isn't really a huge fan of birthdays, and to be honest, we have both been so consumed with planning Baby J's first birthday party, that we haven't given much thought to anything else anyway! But I celebrate him today, and how grateful I am to have him in my life. He is an incredible partner, father, and friend, and he makes my life better every single day.
