I saw these beautiful pieces over at A Cup of Jo and completely fell in love. What a perfect way to spice up a plain outfit or ponytail! See all the beautiful accessories here.
All I can say is "wow." I just came across these beautiful baubles over at Simple Song, and they are to die for! They offer both vintage and handmade pieces- all equally gorgeous!
Much to my dismay, most of the items have already been sold, but I will definitely be checking back for new items!
These are the final party invitations, which were balloons filled with confetti as well as the rolled up invitation, tied to a stick. The confetti exploded like a little party when the balloon was popped, which we recommended be done outside to avoid a mess. Such a fun little craft, and I really think they turned out great!
Tonight I worked on the invitations for Baby J's first birthday party. Why do I torture myself with blowing glitter into balloons through a metal tube (resulting in a mouthful of glitter, of course, on the last one)? Because secretly, I wish I was Martha Stewart, and I love all things crafty and unique- not to mention I will do anything for my little girl! I will post the finished invites as soon as they are all finished, but for now I'm retiring with my DVR and Project Runway.
Aren't these the cutest little desserts ever? Frenchie and Flea featured these today and they are so perfect for the fall, and the best part- you can make and freeze them for later baking! Get the full recipe here.
I found the invites for Baby J's birthday party in the wonderful etsy shop Sweet Pea Baby. The very talented and incredibly accommodating Nanette has such beautiful creations in her shop and was more than willing to adapt the invites with my every, single, request. Check out her shop!
I have had my eye on this watch for a very long time now, and finally the gold watch trend is back! Not to be outdone however, my husband gave me, literally, the most INCREDIBLE and perfect watch when I had Baby J, which I wear everyday and love to pieces!
Every time I see someone with a gold watch, I think of this one and wish I had it in my jewelry drawer for those fun, gold jewelry days. But is it too late for gold watches? Are they best worn in the summer?
Such a fun, quirky everyday bracelet from Kate Spade, right? I am really loving a lot of their jewelry, which is also, surprisingly, very reasonably priced!
Check out these awesome glasses! When you wear them, every point of light appears to be a heart, a smiley face, or some other fun little shape- cool, right? Joanna gave the heart ones as favors for her ultra-glam wedding- such a sweet idea!
The beloved Cookie Magazine will be shutting down, along with a few other Conde Nast publications, including Gourmet, Elegant Bride, and Modern Bride. This magazine was so great for modern parenting articles, new product info, and super-creative ideas. Since becoming a parent myself, I have really grown to love Cookie as well as it's website (staying up til the end of the year, thankfully!), and am very sad to see it go.
I love love love this party tent featured over at P is for Party! I am particularly loving the bunches of hot pink flowers tied to each post, and how they make the red and white stripes really pop.
Elizabeth and James' new holiday collection is so dreamy! Can you just imagine spending your holidays in these pieces? Nothing would make wrapping gifts and baking cookies more glamourous!
I came across this little dress in Ramona West's etsy shop, and fell in love- so much so that last night, it became mine! I couldn't resist! It's versatile, practical, and a LBD that just a little different. Thanks to RZ, I am on the hunt for more fun vintage treasures like these. "Ba-nanans!"
