Well friends, tonight I head in to be induced for baby #2. It has been a long pregnancy, and I am so excited to meet this little one.
I can't wait to introduce our new baby to the world!

Framed

I have just recently come across the wonderful Framed blog, full of tasty and fairly simple recipes. The author, Kate, is a self-taught cook who posts recipes from all over on her blog, and her requirement is that they take no longer than 30 minutes to make- love that!
I made these chicken skewers Saturday night, and they were delicious!

Still no baby, and I'm officially overdue for the second time...ugh. The bright side? They're bringing me in on Tuesday night for an induction- hallelujah! Not to mention, Miss J was more than worth the wait, and I'm sure that will be the case for this little one, too. In the mean time, I will just keep getting my life organized and planned out in the next couple days- with my fingers crossed!

Party Time

Madewell's new fall collection has arrived, and I've decided that this would be my ideal outfit for my first night out, post-baby delivery.






Well, probably not the bracelets with such a sparkly top, but I had to include them, as they would be the perfect addition to my jewelry collection, nonetheless!

My Current State

So I'm now officially in waiting mode for this baby. My due date is this Saturday, August 28th, and I can't wait for this little baby to arrive! I'm trying to stay on top of laundry, keeping the house clean, and stocking the house with all the little things Miss J might need, but otherwise, all I'm doing is waiting. And just to keep things nice and crazy, J has decided that her crib is no longer a suitable place for her to sleep, so we are moving her to a "big girl bed" this week. My little baby is turning into a big girl and getting ready to be a big sister...what a week!

Chairloom is a super-cool local company that is picking up lots of well-deserved press for their amazing work. They use chic, modern fabrics to reupholster old furniture. They sell unfinished pieces, pieces they have re-done themselves, or you can being your own piece to them to have reupholstered. I would love one of their chairs or stools in my house!
