Kitchen Wishin' II

Yet another gorgeous kitchen on Traditional Home. I think if I could design my dream kitchen, it would look a lot like this. I love the light fixtures and the white tile backsplash, the marble countertops, and those huge windows that let in so much daylight!

I would throw a dinner party (or at least a cocktail hour!) every weekend if this was my kitchen.

Baby J would be so cute sitting at the end of this island helping me cook!

Hats Off

I can't decide if I'm a hat person or not- meaning, someone that can actually pull off wearing hats. But when I see a hat like this one from Anthropologie, I really try to be.

I Heart Steve Project

I first heard about this fantastic idea over at Party Perfect.

Steve's wife created these t-shirts and sent them to all of their family and friends all across the world.



They all took pictures of themselves wearing the shirts, and sent them back to Steve's wife. She then made this beautiful garland for his birthday.

An incredible gift, and just about the coolest idea ever. I wish I'd thought of it.

One of my favorite creative outlets is flower-arranging, and I am always inspired by incredible, unique floral designs. Saipua is one of those inspirations. Check out their luscious arrangements incorporating jewel tones and rich autumnal colors- and all those branches and berries...perfection!

Yes, that is kale you see peeking through.

It's a great way to beat the lunchtime salad rut I've been finding myself in. Check out all the recipes here.

I made this cake tonight.

It wasn't bad...very light. It would probably be great for a brunch- if you can get your hands on some good berries.
